Every month our local demonstrators meet and we have a theme for our swaps. For June, the theme was birthdays. I saw this different fold done by Linda Bedinger on You Tube and decided to use the Lilypad Lake Bundle (#148365 for wood mount stamps and dies and #148366 for clear mount stamps and dies. The stamp set contains ten stamps and there are six dies in the bundle. Here are the cards that I created.
If you want to learn how do do the fold just google Linda Bedinger on You Tube and you will see her video. To make the card I used a Bermuda Bay Cardstock Base (#131197). I ran the base through the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (#143263) using the Seaside Embossing Folder (#141481). Then I cut a piece of Mango Melody Cardstock (#146989) and mounted it onto the front of the card as per the directions on Linda's video. This was followed by a scalloped square cut with the Big Shot and the second largest scalloped square from the Layering Squares Framelit Dies (#141708) and Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Next I used a piece of Glossy White Cardstock (#144240) and layered stripes of Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad Ink (#147094), Mango Melody Classic Stampin' Pad Ink (@147093) and Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad Ink (#147096) onto the glossy paper using Sponge Daubers (#133773). Finally I put a piece of Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (#144106) onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock (#121045) and die cut the Lilypad Lake dies on the Big Shot. The Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets easily adhere shapes you cut with the Big Shot.
For the inside of the card I stamped the large Happy Birthday Stamp from the Birthday Wishes For You Stamp Set (#145739 for wood mount or #145742 for clear mount) in Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad Ink (#147096) onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (#100730).
