I saw this beautiful way to introduce the new In Colors by another demonstrator, Frie Lapple on our demonstrator's site. This was my take on her framed piece.
Welcome Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove and Blueberry Bushel.
There are many items that have these colors in them and that is the beauty of Stampin'Up! products. The colors match. To make this I used the reinkers from the five new In Colors and painted them onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock (#100730) using a chip paint brush. Next I stamped the Statement of the Heart Single Stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink (#132708) and then used the same ink to stamp images from the Petal Palette Stamp Set (#145785 for wood mount and #145788 clear mount). I then used the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine to die cut the images using the Petals and More Thinlits Dies (#145655). Finally the images were colored using the new In Color Stampin' Write Markers (#147159).
As I mentioned before there are many items that come in the new In Colors. If you look at page 183 of the new Annual Catalog you will find them all. They include card stock ( 8-1/2" by 11" and 12" by 12"), 6" by 6" Designer Series Paper Pad, Classic Stampin' Pads, the In Color Markers, Stampin' Emboss Powder, Mini Binder Clips, and In Color Flower Buttons. On page 200 of the Annual Catalog you will also find sthe 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon that comes in all of these colors.
As I mentioned before one of the things I love about Stampin'Up! is that the coordination of colors in different items is what really makes your project stand out.
